In the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the release of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Penguin have reissued the popular children's book in a stunning pop-up that will provide entertainment and enjoyment for toddlers and their parents.
This picture book has sold more than 29 million copies since it was released in 1969 and still sells 40,000 copies a year in Australia alone and is the biggest selling children's book of all time. Why? Its simple really. It is an easy to read story about the transition of a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly, and all the food it munches through on the way.
The seven pop ups are wonderfully crafted and will encourage your child's interaction and stimulate their imagination.
This book was a favourite of mine as a child, and is sure to become a hit with my 15 month old!
I recommend buying two... one for the kids and one for you!
