As I paid, the cashier rolled their eyes, all the while thinking I was in fact the victim of my sons purchase, not the other way around.
It was a Saturday night treat, we all sit down to watch a video and I made my sons' favourite weenies (his word for German bratwurst sausages). I was excited, I will not lie. As soon as the singing started, my son was hooked. The mix of real life and animation was great - my son loved it. It was so believable, he thinks chipmunks exist! I have created the second Santa! “Chippymunks” is now the word around the house and now every Saturday is ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks'. I am sure we will tire soon, but for now ten out of ten from me - all I can do now is hope and pray that the SMURFS come to DVD soon.
