This costume is a get dressed and make as we go kind of deal. Let your child get dressed, while they are getting ready, cutout a sword out of an old cardboard box, cover it with aluminum foil and you have the sword ready. Tie the bandana around the head, put on eyepatch and you are ready to add the finishing touches, parrot to should (safety pin or bobby pin) and some makeup for the cheeks (to give them the rough and tumble look).

 

Now your little pirate is ready to go! Arrggggg!
